Opening in Primrose Hill, Hotel 1729 is a one-bedroom only hotel designed in collaboration with Tom Hingston to recreate the essence of Maison Ruinart.

Hotel 1729; a One-Bedroom Hotel
This July will see a brand new concept by Tom Hingston land in London, an exclusive over-night experience inside a one-bedroom only hotel. Situated in a hidden location in Primrose Hill, Hotel 1729 aims to recreate the experience of the world’s first established champagne house, Maison Ruinart, created in 1729. Guests will experience the unexpected during a night of indulgence that surpasses expectation with designs by Tom Hingston.

Having worked with some of the world’s most innovative musicians and filmmakers, Tom Hingston of Hingston Studios designed the concept to bring a disruptive, imaginative and sensory hotel experience to the streets of London. Commisioned by Ruinart, the unique hotel will embrace the juxtaposition of heritage and modernity with the use of storytelling and unexpected visual twists.
Having won several awards for work in music, Hingston Studio has collaborated with the likes of Nick Cave, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, U2, Lady Gaga and many more renowned artists.

During each stay, guests will taste a menu of experimental food to tickle the senses which will be personally hosted by Ruinart Maître d’Hospitalité. Guiding guests through a tasting of several Ruinart champagnes will be Olivier Livoir, as experimental Danish chef Bo Lindegaard pairs each tasting perfectly with imaginative culinary cuisine. Hotel residents have the choice to invite up to four guests to accompany during the stimulating experience.
