Only a hop from the station and the ferry terminal, Perle Oban has the same imposing Victorian façade it had in its previous incarnations, first as the Station Hotel and later the Oban Caledonian. Most of the main Oban attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. Oban Whisky Distillery and McCaigs Tower are absolute must see’s. Visitors can choose from various boat tours for day trips to the local islands and to see the fantastic wildlife including puffins and seals. The hotel is also a 2 minute walk to the train station and ferry terminal where guests can easily travel to the Hebridean Isles of other Highland destinations.
BAAB Meze & Grill in Perle Oban Hotel is Oban’s only Eastern Mediterranean restaurant. Sourced locally where possible, each dish is made with the freshest of ingredients and skilfully grilled in a Josper Oven.
As the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’, getting some delicious fresh seafood is a must. Oban Chocolate Factory is also famous for their incredible selection of home-made chocolates. If you are a fan of whisky, the distillery offers a great selection of Oban whisky.
