The Curriculum
This is an intellectually exciting place, but unstuffy, grounded and great fun. We offer a broad and adventurous curriculum, helping every girl to discover what she loves.
Games & The Arts
Our facilities include a swimming pool, fitness suite and dance studio, and the school excels in Lacrosse, Netball and Hockey. Our commitment to the creative arts is evident in our new performing arts, design and technology centre to support creative expression.
Pastoral Care
Strong pastoral care is at the heart of our community. Our approach is compassionate and caring, we seek to appreciate and develop the talents of every girl while understanding and meeting her individual needs. Each student is placed in one of four Houses, which fast becomes her ‘family’ throughout her time at STAHS. Through a warm and supportive environment, we teach girls to respect and care for herself and others.
University Places
Ninety per cent of girls secure places at their first choice universities.
Head Teacher’s Philosophy
Our vision is to provide an exciting and challenging education that fosters independence, creativity and risk-taking within a caring community. We encourage girls to set themselves ambitious goals, both intellectually and personally. We promote critical and creative thinking, and place a strong emphasis on independent research and investigation.
