Oxford offers
Christian and Max

Kew House School (KHS) is delighted to announce that two of their Sixth Formers, Christian and Max, have earned prestigious offers from Oxford University. Christian has been offered a place to study Oriental Studies with Classics while Max has received an offer to study Engineering. KHS Headmaster, Will Williams, took to Twitter to congratulate the pair saying “We’re immensely proud of the first Oxbridge offers in Kew House School history.”

Pupils at KHS are made aware of the huge range of Post-18 pathways available to them from very early on in their time at KHS. The ‘Individuals in Society’ course, taught to pupils right the way through their time at the school, focuses on personal development; emotionally, practically and intellectually. Covering such a wide range of topics, it prepares pupils for life as a young adult and instils confidence.

KHS Sixth Form opened in 2018, starting with only twelve students enrolled. This year there are 70 students enrolled with 55 applying through the UCAS system. The school’s first-choice university acceptance rate has been around the 85% mark every year. However, pupils are not limited by the UCAS system. Pupils are made aware of the importance of finding the most suitable and best choice Post-18 pathway for themselves.
