Solihull has reinforced its standing as one of the Midlands’ most successful schools after recording another superb set of Oxford and Cambridge University offers. Six Sixth Form students have won conditional places to study at the historic institutions.
Asad Iqbal has been awarded a place to study Economics and Management at Worcester College, Oxford; Jem Perry, PPE at Queen’s College, Oxford; Pippa Meigh, English at Christchurch College, Oxford; Ben Pulley, History at Downing College, Cambridge; Conor Collins, Maths at Jesus College, Cambridge; and Paige Redfern, Natural Sciences at Newham College, Cambridge.
Dr Foster, Head of Oxbridge at the leading 3-18 independent coeducational day school said: ‘I am thrilled for our students who have all worked extremely hard to achieve their Oxbridge success. Credit goes to the teachers for helping candidates through the very demanding selection process.’
Solihull School secured a 100 percent pass rate in last year’s A Level results, with 62 percent of passes achieved at A* or A grades.
