The two packages on offer are inspired by The Landmark London’s pastry chefs Mauro Di Lieto and Daniel Schevenels, who won Bake Off: The Professionals 2023. Both involve a stay at the legendary five-star hotel, alongside a baking masterclass with Mauro and Daniel and afternoon tea in the oh-so-Instagrammable restaurant, plus a decadent breakfast in the Winter Garden.

Opt for the Stay And Bake experience and you’ll enjoy a two-night stay in one of the hotel’s superior bedrooms, or go for just one night with the Afternoon Tea Delight offering.

In Bake Off: The Professionals 2023, Mauro and Daniel competed against rival chefs from places like The Dorchester and Harwoods Patisserie, impressing the judges in the final with creations including a chocolate and salted caramel Swiss roll with banana cremeux and peanut butter.

Mauro has been Head Pastry Chef at The Landmark London for over four years, and Daniel has been working alongside him there since September 2021. Together, they have over 60 years of experience in the world of pastry creation and design.

The Landmark London is one of the capital’s grandest Victorian-era railway hotels, dating all the way back to 1899. The hotel’s centrepiece is the glass-roofed atrium, eight stories high and decked out with palm trees and lush plants – which all 300 bedrooms look onto. There’s also a small but perfectly formed spa, complete with a pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna – the perfect spot for staying horizontal after one too many cakes.

The Stay and Bake with Mauro and Daniel package is valid for a two-night stay on 20 and 21 October or 17 and 18 November 2023. The Afternoon Tea Delight is valid for a one-night stay between 6 September and 21 November 2023. landmarklondon.co.uk
