The royal trend-setter strikes again
While December may be the season of sparkles, festive reds and metallic partywear, the annual Royal Carols: Together at Christmas carol service sometimes calls for more sophisticated wardrobe choices – especially if you’re the Princess of Wales. See what Kate Middleton wore to the 2023 edition of the royals‘ carol service below.
Kate Middleton Channels Winter Whites For Christmas Carol Service 2023
The Princess of Wales has never been one to shy away from – or kick off – a fashion trend. This year alone, we’ve seen her jump on the Barbiecore bandwagon, channel tenniscore at Wimbledon and (albeit in a flashback to the noughties on The Crown) claim the sheer style trend as her own. And now, in the thick of festive season, Kate can be seen in yet another big seasonal trend: winter whites.

Kate Middleton was seen attending Royal Carols: Together at Christmas service with her family back in early December, where she traded in last year’s red coat and dress for an all-white ensemble. A look befitting the quiet luxury fad, she donned a pair of Holland Cooper high-waisted trousers and a Kiltane sweater, as well as a white coat crafted by Chris Kerr, a bespoke menswear tailor on Savile Row. The Princess of Wales topped off the look with a Strathberry handbag, Gianvito Rossi pumps and Van Cleef & Arpels earrings.
The princess carried this theme into the official promo trailer for the event, where you can see her wearing a glittery white bouclé jacket from Self Portrait (unfortunately now sold out, but you can find similar jackets from the brand here) with a pair of Cassandra Goad earrings.
