Curry on pizza? We’re intrigued…
Yard Sale is renowned for its special edition pizzas, which often involve collaborations with other London foodie hotspots. But the latest is perhaps its most exciting yet. This February, the pizza joint is joining forces with Malaysian street food favourite Roti King, offering limited edition pizzas in its sites across the capital.
Yard Sale To Launch Curry Pizzas With Roti King
A dream dish for lovers of pizza and curry, the offering will include three versions of an Italian/Malaysian crossover special. First up is the Roti Rendang, a pizza with a fior di latte base, topped with beef rendang curry, a signature dish at Roti King. There’s also a veggie option made with a shitake mushroom rendang, or a vegan take which comes without the mozzarella.
Speaking about the collaboration, Roti King founder Sugen Gopal said: ‘We have had so much fun working on this collaboration, it’s been great to bring two of our best loved curries to the Yard Sale team and work on creating something delicious. I love working on fusion food and Curry x Pizza has to be the ultimate for me.’
Yard Sale Pizza began with three friends experimenting with some dough in their garden in Hackney. It has grown to become one of London’s favourite pizza spots, with outposts dotted all over the city, plus takeaway options.

Roti King, meanwhile, first opened in Euston back in 2014, with branches to follow in Battersea and Waterloo. As the name suggests, it’s known for its rotis, served in various formats alongside Malaysian dishes like curries and stir fries – all for very reasonable prices.
The pizzas will be available from 21 February – 19 March 2024 across all the Yard Sale sites. yardsalepizza.com
