Leading gentlemen’s outfitter Oliver Brown has set up shop in a prime location between the Royal Exchange and Leadenhall Market.The brand’s third retail store offers its full SS24 ready-to wear collections along with morningwear and top hats – ideal for City workers planning on attending next month’s Royal Ascot.

Cheaney To Launch New Bond Street Boutique

There’ll be a fresh destination for British shoemaking fans to explore this summer: a brand-new Cheaney boutique on New Bond Street in London’s Mayfair, set to open this August. The store will proudly display the brand’s signature footwear styles, many of which showcase the classic Goodyear welted technique.

‘Our goal is to bring the theatre of the factory into store, allowing customers to discover our handcrafted footwear in a contemporary space that complements the rich heritage of the business,’ says William Church, Joint MD of Joseph Cheaney.

Jennifer Chamandi Opens Bespoke Pop-Up At Harrods

Luxury footwear label Jennifer Chamandi has opened a new pop-up at iconic London department store Harrods, where the team will be showcasing the brand’s bespoke service. Highlighting Jennifer Chamandi signature styles, the service allows shoppers to take part in the art of creation. Offering an endless menu of colour ways and textures, the brand invites shoppers to find their perfect bespoke match. The design for each pair of shoes is then sent to a family-run master artisan atelier in Italy, where it is handcrafter. It takes six to eight weeks for a bespoke pair to be completed and sent back to each shopper.

This accolade, created by the Duke of Richmond, is now in its fourth year, and was created to recognise rising home-grown talent. The designer will now create three show-stopping couture gowns inspired by Goodwood’s heritage, which will be revealed during the opening ceremony of the Qatar Goodwood Festival on Tuesday 30 July 2024.

Lock & Co Hatters Join Forces with Brown’s Hotel on Afternoon Tea

This May, the iconic hat maker Lock & Co is teaming up with another British institution, Brown’s Hotel, to make over its afternoon tea. Served in its cosy, wood-panelled Drawing Room (where Queen Victoria herself is supposed to have taken tea), on the menu will be traditional sandwiches and warm scones with cream and jam, topped off with a selection of cakes and pastries inspired by the hatter’s SS24 collection, including an a playful homage to its Rose Bud Percher Hat. Lock & Co headpieces will also be displayed around the room – perfect for a bit of light shopping over tea ahead of the social season kicking off.
