Are you falling in love with Bridgerton all over again? Here's where to find the family’s gorgeous home

While the Bridgerton filming locations dressed up in all of their grandeur feel a world away, for Brits, most of them are closer than we might think. The majority of Shonda Rhimes’ globally successful series is filmed in London, though Bath, Buckinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Berkshire and plenty more quintessentially British locations appear throughout the series. While season 3 centres mainly on Penelope, Colin Bridgerton is the other half of the season’s central couple – and we will always have a soft spot for his family home. But where is Bridgerton House? And can you visit? Here are all of the details.

Where Is Bridgerton House?

Bridgerton House is actually Ranger’s House, an English Heritage Georgian villa on the boundary of Greenwich Park and Blackheath in London. Dating back to 1722 and built with red-brick in a Palladian style, it was previously known as Chesterfield House, but was renamed due to its association with the Ranger of Greenwich Park, a royal appointment, with the house the Ranger’s official residence.

Can You Visit?

Yes – and art lovers shouldn’t miss out. Ranger’s House is home to The Wernher Collection, a world-class collection of art amassed by 19th century businessman Sir Julius Wernher; very Bridgerton indeed. Visitors can find over 700 works of art displayed across panelled interiors, spanning mediaeval sculptures, ornate jewellery, Renaissance paintings and plenty more.

BOOK IT: You don’t need to book a ticket in advance but, with Bridgerton fever sweeping the nation, we highly recommend it. Plus, you can save 15 percent when you book online. Tickets start from £7.50 and can be booked at english-heritage.org.uk

Where Are The Interiors Filmed?

The scenes that take us inside the Bridgerton family home are filmed at RAF Halton, a Royal Air Force station in Buckinghamshire home to approximately 2,100 personnel.

Can You Visit?

Because RAF Halton is a functioning air base, we cannot visit just yet. However, it is due to close in 2027, so this may change in the future.

Where Is The Bridgerton Garden?

The Bridgerton family garden scenes are filmed at Luton Hoo Estate, a country estate complete with a classic country house, flower filled garden and dramatic sweep of countryside. It appears multiple times in different guises in Bridgerton, one example being the family garden with its swings.
