Glastonbury 2025: Tickets, Line-Up & More
How To Get Tickets For Glastonbury 2025
The first thing on your Glastonbury 2025 action plan should be registering for tickets. You can do that here. If you registered for 2024 tickets, there’s no need to register again – just make sure all of your information is up to date. You will then be issued with a code that is necessary for purchasing tickets, so make sure you keep the email safe.
Getting tickets for Glastonbury 2025 is all the more important because 2026 will officially be a fallow year, meaning the fields of Worthy Farm will be left to recover for the year. This means fans that don’t secure 2025 tickets will have to wait a whole 24 months before they can party once again at Worthy Farm. No pressure.
When Will Glastonbury Tickets Go On Sale?
Glastonbury 2025 tickets will go on sale in November 2024. The coach-and-ticket packages will go on sale at 6pm on Thursday 14 November 2024, with general admission on sale at 6pm on Sunday 17 November 2024 – giving you two opportunities to snag your ticket.
After all of the initial hubbub, there will also be a ticket resale in April for anyone who can no longer attend. Don’t rely on this system, though: the Glastonbury organisers recently revealed they had their lowest number of resale tickets ever in 2024.
How Much Do Glastonbury Tickets Cost?
In 2025, general admission tickets will cost £373.50 per person, plus a £5 booking fee.
Top Tips For Getting A Ticket
We all have that one friend who seems to get tickets every year, and while there’s clearly an element of luck involved, there are some things you can do to up your chances.
- Consider setting up a syndicate with a group of up to six people, so you can all try and secure tickets for the group. If you’re feeling advanced, you can join with other groups: then, if you or someone in your group secures tickets for your six, you can start trying for the other group/s.
- Organisation is key. Check your Wi-Fi connection, and ensure you have all your details ready – plus anyone you’re trying to get tickets for. You’ll need full names, registration numbers and postcodes. Pop them on a Google Doc so you can copy and paste them across, and create a WhatsApp group to keep everyone updated.
- Make sure you have enough money on your card. If you’re lucky enough to make it through, then your card fails at the crucial moment, you’ll never forgive yourself. Remember you’ll need enough to cover the booking fee for everyone in your group.
- While some people argue for opening multiple tabs, the official Glastonbury advice is to use just one tab.
- Consider volunteering with a charity like Oxfam or Water Aid. This typically entails working three eight-hour shifts over the course of the festival helping to keep the space clean, providing directions, checking wristbands and patrolling campsites. In your free time, the festival awaits.
- Move to Pilton. Extreme, but bear with us: local residents get free-entry to the festival, with a select number of tickets reserved for at a low price for people living in Somerset. Only one question remains: is the guaranteed ticket worth the house price?
When Is Glastonbury 2025?
No official confirmation just yet, but we anticipate Glastonbury 2025 will take place over the weekend of 25–29 June 2025.
Glastonbury 2025 Rumoured Headliners
Whispers on the music scene include the following shiny acts: Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, The Rolling Stones, Green Day, AC/DC, Harry Styles, Raye, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran.
Some whispers still maintain Oasis may make an appearance, but the Gallagher brothers rejected that theory when announcing their come back tour.
Emily Eavis, co-organiser and daughter of Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis, is already in talks with potential Glastonbury 2025 headliners. With 2024 the first year in the festival’s history to feature two female headliners on the Pyramid Stage (Dua Lipa and SZA), perhaps there is more female energy in the Glasto future.
Where Is Glastonbury?
Glastonbury Festival takes place on Worthy Farm in a small Somerset village called Pilton, six miles east of the ancient town of Glastonbury. The first festival took place here in 1970, and it’s been going ever since.
