The Emory is Now Open
London’s latest luxury hotel, the uber-exclusive Emory, is now open. The Belgravia spot was designed by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour of RSHP, and is London’s first all-suite hotel.
Renowned designer Rémi Tessier has masterminded the public spaces of The Emory, from abc kitchens and The Emory Bar on the ground floor, to the showstopping tenth-floor rooftop’s Bar 33 and The Emory Cigar Merchants. Tessier’s interiors seamlessly blend a sense of warmth to the contemporary steel structure, complementing the glass façade with rich and high-quality materials, delivering a mood of intimacy and calm.
Each of the hotel’s 61 suites showcases the work of world-class interior designers, including Alexandra Champalimaud, Andre Fu, Pierre-Yves Rochon, and Patricia Urquiola. The 330 sq/m penthouse with wraparound glass windows was designed by Rigby & Rigby.

New & Lingwood Announces Second Chapter in RE:NEW Circularity Initiative

RE:NEW is New & Lingwood’s sustainability programme exploring ideas and methods of circularity in the style world.
Following its recent collaboration with print designer Lisa King, which launched at London Craft Week 2024, the brand is expanding the partnership to offer a limited-edition collection of one-of-a-kind garments alongside a made-to-measure service available throughout summer 2024.
There are now 34 one-of-a-kind unisex designs to choose from, across dressing gowns (from £1,200 – £2,800), shirts (£525) and lounge trousers (£525), made from Lisa King’s vast Japanese and Indonesian Batik fabric archive. Alternatively, shoppers can pop into the brand’s Chiltern Street store until the end of July for a by-appointment made-to-measure service, to create something totally unique.
Nina Campbell Awarded an OBE
Storied British interior designer Nina Campbell, who first set up shop on the Pimlico Road in the 1970s, has been awarded an OBE in King Charles’s birthday honours list. Over the past 50 years she has built an internationally renowned design studio, plus has her own line of wallpaper, fabrics, tableware, and furniture.
‘This is such a huge honour and I am so delighted to have interior design recognised in this way,’ says Nina Campbell. ‘I’d like to give an enormous thank you to so many friends at home and abroad who made this happen.’

Belvoir Farm Marks 40th Anniversary with Celebratory Harvest
Belvoir Farm’s annual elderflower harvest in June marked 40 years of the beloved British brand being in business. Its renowned bottling is still made to the same family recipe created by Mary Manners at her kitchen table in 1984, which became the first commercially produced elderflower cordial in the UK.
The month-long harvest took place on Belvoir Farm’s own 60-acre organic plantation, as well as in wild hedgerows found across Leicestershire and the company’s bordering counties. Pickers – many from the local community – were paid per kilo for their flowers.
Committed to working closely with nature, respecting the countryside and supporting sustainable farming, Belvoir Farm relies on traditional methods of hand picking, blending and infusing, with no artificial additives, and using only recyclable packaging.
