Who Is Sabrina Carpenter?

From teen actress to pop princess, Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer who kicked off her rise to stardom as a Disney actor. She first gained recognition on Girl Meets World, eventually signing to Disney-owned Hollywood Records in 2013, where she released her debut single, ‘Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying’. Here, she released the albums Eyes Wide Open (2015), Evolution (2016), Singular: Act I (2018) and Singular: Act II (2019) – but none really made an impact chart wise. In 2021, the singer moved to Island Records and released ‘Skin’, which would quickly become her first US Billboard Hot 100 hit. Her next album, Emails I Can’t Send (2022), debuted at number 23 on the Billboard 200.

Gradually gaining relevance, Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour in August 2023, captivating fans worldwide. Flash forward to 2024 and Carpenter’s sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet (2024), is expected to be her highest-charting album to date after the global success of its first single, ‘Espresso’, quickly followed by ‘Please Please Please’.

Does Sabrina Carpenter Have A Partnership With Spotify?

How has ‘Espresso’ risen to such extreme fame? And why does it always appear on Spotify’s automatically generated playlists and queues. Although there is no hard evidence confirming a deal between Carpenter and the music streaming platform, Spotify recently announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with the pop-singer to give exclusive ticket access to the Short n’ Sweet Tour to her top fans. There will be a Spotify ‘top listeners’ pit for these fans at every US show, and fans will also be able to purchase tickets via an exclusive presale code provided by ‘Fans First Front Row’, a new ticketing offer available through Spotify.
