Home to an eclectic array of world-leading cocktail bars and pioneering bartenders, London’s drinks scene is unrivalled. It’s celebrated each year at London Cocktail Week, a city-wide festival which returns this October for its 15th edition. Hundreds of bars across the capital will be taking part, hosting pop-ups, masterclasses and dinners, as well as adding special £8 signature cocktails to their menus. Keen to get involved? Soho Cocktail Tour

London’s party capital, Soho is jam-packed with great bars – from secret speakeasies to long-standing pubs and glitzy cocktail spots. Try them all on a tour of the neighbourhood, where you’ll sample plenty of cocktails and learn stories about Soho’s rich cocktail history.

The Dead Rabbit x Lyaness

Last year, Ryan Chetiyawardana’s renowned bar Lyaness took a trip across the pond to New York hotspot The Dead Rabbit, a former World’s Best Bar. For 2024, it’s the other way round: The Dead Rabbit is coming to London’s Southbank for two nights of live Irish music, food and signature cocktails from the bar, including its famed Irish coffee.

Little Blue at The Peninsula’s Gin Tasting

Little Blue, the stylish cocktail bar at The Peninsula’s Cantonese restaurant Canton Blue, is collaborating with Cambridge Distillery on an immersive gin experience. Guests will enjoy three gin cocktails, guided by The Peninsula’s head mixologist Aude Fraisse, alongside a dim sum platter from chef Terry Wong.

Taco Tuesday at Satan’s Whiskers

Love tequila? Love tacos? We’ve got just the ticket. Head to Satan’s Whiskers in Bethnal Green, which has partnered with Patrón Tequila to bring back its Taco Tuesday for the fifth year, where you can get a free taco with any Patrón cocktail.

Cocktail Rings & Cocktails

Head to the capital’s jewellery quarter, Hatton Garden, where creative hub FORGE is hosting an evening of jewellery making and cocktails. Try on rings from an array of designers while sipping away at expertly crafted drinks.

Whisky and Cheese Pairing

You’ve heard of cheese and wine pairing, but what about whisky and cheese? That’s the focus of an event at Mayfair restaurant Hide, where guests can try three cocktails made with whisky from around the world, paired with different cheeses.

Clap London x Kwãnt 

For one night only, Kensington’s Japanese-inspired rooftop bar and restaurant Clap is hosting bartender Araz Jarchlou, who hails from the esteemed Kwãnt Mayfair. Visitors will have the chance to try specially curated cocktails in collaboration with Giffard Premium Liqueurs and Ki No Bi Gin, amid the glitzy settings of Clap.

How Do Tickets Work?

Wristbands are available to buy via DesignMyNight – or you can buy them directly from bars taking part in the festival. These cost £20, and give you access to £8 signature cocktails across hundreds of bars in London, as well as a number of other offers throughout the festival. All the bars taking part are listed online. Some events, however, require tickets, which you can purchase via londoncocktailweek.com.
