Isle Of Wight Festival 2025: Line-Up, Dates & Tickets

What Is The Isle Of Wight Festival?

Isle of Wight Festival is an annual music festival dating back to 1968, though the 1970 edition is history’s most famous: to an audience of 600,000 festival goers, the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Doors and Joni Mitchell all performed, putting the small southern England island firmly on the music map. It was such a busy festival, however, safety concerns meant a repeat event was banned by the UK government for many years.

Flash forwards to 2002 and festival promoter John Giddings revived the Isle of Wight Festival – and the rest is history. Taking place on the island every summer, festivals have seen performances from global stars including Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, The Killers and plenty more. In 2024, the headliners were The Prodigy, Pet Shop Boys and Green Day, joined by the likes of Keane, Simple Minds, Zara Larsson, McFly, and Scouting for Girls.

Who Is On The Line-Up?

An initial wave of acts has been announced for the 2025 Isle of Wight Festival, including: Sting, Justin Timberlake, Clean Bandit, Faithless, Stereophonics, Example, Olly Murs, The Script, James, Paul Heaton and Rianne Downey, Teddy Swims, Texas, Alison Moyet, Dean Lewis, The Lathums and Lottery Winners.

‘What a line-up we have in store already for the next edition of The Isle of Wight Festival,’ says festival promoter John Giddings. ‘This first announcement spans global music icons to the freshest new talent and we have many more names to come so stay tuned. Everyone should get to the island over 19–22 June 2025 for an unforgettable weekend of music.’

When Is The Next Isle Of Wight Festival?
