Check into The Heartbreak Hotel

Ever wished there was a tried and tested formula to get over a broken heart? If the cry-it-out method isn’t working for you, you could always book onto this hotel’s new ‘Heartbreak Hotel package’. We predict that this leave-the-country approach will particularly appeal to emotionally-avoidant types…

The Heartbreak Hotel Package At Perdue Hotel

So, how are we overcoming heartbreak with a holiday? The Heartbreak Hotel package at Perdue Hotel in Southern Turkey promises a ‘healing retreat’ for ‘personal rejuvenation and self-discovery’. During the five-night stay, guests will stay in tented seafront villas with coastal views and private pools. (Already, the heart is feeling a little more buoyant.) Butler service means there’s no need for venturing out if it’s solitude you need to heal, with hidden relaxation areas for further self-reflection.

But a secluded seafront stay can only go so far. Astrological guidance may also be required, and you’ll find that here, too. Perdue’s resident astronomer will provide a personal session to provide insight and guidance to move forward, as well as suggesting a tailored programme of activities based on your individual star chart.

As well as the private session with an astrologer, the package also includes one private yoga lesson and meditation, plus two massages in the sea-view spa. (The ex is a distant memory now, no?) There’s also hiking in the surrounding remote hillside, plus plenty of local, seasonal cuisine (a welcome upgrade on the usual post-break-up comfort eating).

BOOK IT: The Heartbreak Hotel programme starts from 2,290 Euros (approx. £1,923), and includes a five-night stay at Perdue by Naturally Luxurious Getaway on a bed & breakfast basis. To enquire, email [email protected] or visit perdue.com.tr

If jetting off to Turkey isn’t possible right now, how about a little heartbreak staycation? Because, while a personal astrologer sounds delightful, there’s nothing as healing as a hotel breakfast, is there? Here are three UK boltholes for a post-break-up treat.
