A proud member of Design Hotels, Rastrello is a fully restored 14th-century palazzo hotel that sits on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, capturing the natural beauty and rich history of the Italian countryside.

The luxury boutique property boasts sixteen rooms alongside a dedicated spa, meditation room and small outdoor pool, as well as farm-to-table restaurant Cucina & Giardino, which is headed up by celebrated regional chef Nicola Fanfano. Overlooking Lake Trasimeno, Cucina & Giardino offers a panoramic garden terrace with breathtaking views as well as an intimate indoor space for guests and locals to enjoy.

Lovingly restored by Pelizzari Studio, the building is a historically accurate representation of architecture from 500 years ago – a time when confined medieval-style spaces gave way to more expansive ones. Original stone walls and structural elements (such as beams and ironwork) honour the timeless feel of the region. All rooms were organically crafted to face the valley, offering meditative views of the nearby Lake Trasimeno.
