Leopard print knickers? Don't mind if we do
If there was ever a month reserved specifically for bundling up at home, it would be January. But just because you want to feel comfortable, doesn’t mean you can’t look your best. Our first piece of evidence? The newly dropped collaboration by London-based fashion label RIXO and B Corp brand Stripe & Stare. Here’s everything you need to know.

The RIXO x Stripe & Stare Collection Drops This January
When it comes to clothes, we look for something that both looks and feels good to be in. The same sentiment rings true for underwear – more so, even. So when a collection comes around that ticks all these boxes, we’re on high alert.
RIXO’s recent collaboration with Stripe & Stare – with its soft-to-touch and prettily patterned knickers, bras, camis and bodysuits – more than fulfils this criteria. Launching on 16 January, the limited-edition collection sits top of our wish list this season.
‘Collaborating with fellow female founders is my favourite thing to do,’ said Katie Lopes, founder of Stripe & Stare, on the new collection. ‘I have long loved RIXO and creating this collection with Henrietta and Orlagh has been a dream. The polka dots, the stripes, the leopards, the hearts – the perfect union of amazing prints on the softest range of underwear and layers.’
‘I first met Katie at a networking event and funnily enough she was wearing a RIXO dress, and I was wearing her S&S knickers,’ laughed Orlagh McCloskey, RIXO co-founder and creative director, and Henrietta Rix, RIXO co-founder and CEO. ‘After talking for a few years, we finally found the right time to collaborate. We’re both customers of each other’s brands and have similar ethos’s around sustainability, diversity and female empowerment so it been a joy to see this come into fruition.’
The Highlights
Spanning sizes UK 6 to 22 (XS to 4XL), the collection is made up of knickers, bras and loungewear staples (for night and daytime wear) decorated in RIXO’s playful prints – think leopard, stripes and hearts.
Staying true to Stripe & Stare’s design ethos, each item in the collection is crafted from a fabric sourced from Beechwood Trees. Using 95 percent less water than cotton during production, the fabric is also 95 percent biodegradable in just three months (where some synthetic fibres take up to 200 years).
