Where to break the fast in the capital

Over the next few weeks, Muslims from all over the world will be observing the Islamic month of Ramadan. Expected to take place from 28 February to 30 March this year (the dates are dependent on the sighting of the crescent moon), the holy month is marked by fasting from dawn to dusk. After sunset, people observing Ramadan break their fast during a meal known as Iftar, with many restaurants offering special menus for the occasion. Below, we highlight where to go in London for Iftar meals this year.

Best Iftar Menus In London For Ramadan 2025

InterContinental London Park Lane, Mayfair

Mayfair hotel InterContinental London Park Lane will be serving a Middle Eastern-inspired Iftar menu in its stylish Wellington Lounge. The offering is inspired by chef Ayesha Kalaji’s Jordanian family recipes, featuring dishes like red lentil soup with crispy shallots, slow-cooked lamb ouzi, and whole grilled seabass with braised cannellini beans. For dessert, there’s Arabian rice pudding with rose water, and a chocolate Persian lime crémeux.
