With Olivier and Tony awards under its belt, Suzie Miller’s legal monologue drama is coming back for one final run

When Suzie Miller’s play Prima Facie debuted on the West End in 2022, Jodie Comer’s performance received instant acclaim. It’s a one-woman show, centring on Tessa, a barrister who specialises in defending men accused of sexual assault. But when she is sexually assaulted herself, Tessa’s entire view of the system changes.

The play first ran on the West End from April to June 2022 at the Harold Pinter Theatre (Comer’s West End debut), picking up Olivier and WhatsOnStage awards, before transferring to Broadway in 2023 where Comer earned the 2023 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play.

While NT Live made a recorded performance available to watch in cinemas, fans have been crying out for a reprise – and our prayers have finally been answered. Jodie Comer is taking Prima Facie on tour ‘one last time’. Here’s how to get your tickets.

Prima Facie’s UK & Ireland Tour

‘It is a huge privilege to return to Prima Facie for one last time,’ Comer said on the news. ‘I can’t think of a better finale to what has been such an incredible and deeply rewarding chapter in my life.’

‘The resonance of Suzie Miller’s writing, both in London and New York, exceeded anything we could have imagined,’ Comer added.

When Is Prima Facie Returning?

Prima Facie is embarking on a UK and Ireland tour in early 2026, running from 23 January to 21 March.
