Here's where to get your hands on the viral pistachio bar in the UK

No need to fly to Dubai to try its viral chocolate bar: Lindt’s dupe is back on UK shelves after its initial drop last December.

Where To Buy Lindt’s Dubai Style Chocolate Bar

Last autumn, TikTok was taken over by videos of a thick, crunchy chocolate bar filled with pistachio and crispy kataifi, named ‘Can’t Get Knafeh Of It’ and created by Dubai-based Fix Chocolatier. Available only in the UAE city, it had people travelling for hundreds of miles to get a taste, despite the steep price tag (one bar will set you back around £15.99).

But it was only a matter of time before copycat versions made their way to other parts of the world. In December 2024, Lindt released its Dubai Style Chocolate Bar, inspired by the TikTok-famous treat. But, naturally, it sold out in just five days, which led to people selling the bar on eBay for as much as £70.

Now, though, the bar is back, retailing at £10. You can buy it online, as well as in Sainsbury’s, and it’s already proving popular in Waitrose, which has had to impose a strict two bar per person rule to avoid stockpiling. A spokesperson told The Grocer: ‘Due to the incredible popularity of this product, we want to make sure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to try it.’

The chocolate bar will also be sold in Lindt stores, including at the brand’s new flagship in Piccadilly Circus, which is now open.

@lindtuk The wait is almost over… Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate is launching nationwide in just 2 days! ✨ Experience pure indulgence with a smooth, creamy filling made with 45% pistachio—the ultimate taste of luxury. 💚🍫 Available from March 19th in all Lindt Chocolate Shops, online at lindt.co.uk, and exclusively in Sainsbury’s. Mark your calendars. 💫🍫 #LindtDubaiStyle #ComingSoon #DubaiStyleChocolate ♬ original sound – Lindt UK

It features the same tasty combination as the original bar, with Lindt milk chocolate filled with pistachio paste and kataifi pastry. Lindt has announced two new products, too: there’s a 40g snack-sized version of the big bar, plus a Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate Praline Box.

Stefan Bruderer, Lindt Master Chocolatier said: ‘We’re thrilled to be bringing back our Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate bar to the UK, with exclusive lines in our brand-new London flagship store. We know how much our consumers enjoyed this chocolate bar when we first launched and how much demand there was, so it’s an honour to make it more widely available this time around!’

Where Else To Buy Dubai Style Chocolate

Lindt isn’t the only brand to capitalise on the trend. Lidl has also dropped its own Dubai Chocolate, available via the TikTok shop as well as in stores for just £3.99. However, there’s a two-per-person limit here too – unsurprisingly, this cheaper version is a hit too, with the retailer reporting sales of 72 bars per minute. London-based chocolatier Maison Samadi also sells a version, as does Northampton brand Qoqoa.
