The first As Ever drop has been a hit
Somewhere in sunny Montecito, Meghan Markle is pouring herself a glass of champagne right now. After months of promo, the Duchess of Sussex launched her revamped lifestyle brand As Ever yesterday, with all products selling out in just an hour.
Meghan Markle Launches First As Ever Product Drop
As Ever, formerly called American Riviera Orchard, is described on its website as ‘a collection of products, inspired by her long-lasting love of cooking, entertaining and hosting with ease.’ It includes herbal tea, cookie and crepe mixes, flower sprinkles and a limited-edition wildflower honey. But the product that has got most people talking? A raspberry jam costing $14 (£10.80), made with raspberries and lemon and served in a keepsake jar.
In a newsletter to her followers, Meghan said: ‘Of course, you’ll find the raspberry spread that started it all presented in keepsake packaging that you can repurpose to tuck away love notes or special treasures, and to remember this pivotal moment with me. Think of it as our time capsule.’
She encouraged fans to reuse the jar afterwards, too. ‘And by the way, once you’ve enjoyed every spoonful of this fruit spread, you may want to do what I do: rinse the jar and use it as a small bud vase for flowers on your nightstand, or to hold your pens on your desk.’

Meghan soft launched her jam last year, sending jars to 50 of her closest friends including Mindy Kaling and Chrissy Teigen – with Teigen later sharing a video on Instagram of her enjoying it with some bread, butter and bacon. ‘This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year,’ she wrote.
Fans were raring to get a taste, with the jam selling out within half an hour of going live online yesterday – and sparking a two-jar limit, à la the viral Dubai chocolate bar.
The product drop comes hot off the heels of With Love, Meghan, the royal’s recent cooking show for Netflix. Across eight episodes, it shows Meghan in her California kitchen cooking a series of her favourite dishes for a series of friends and chefs, from focaccia to skillet spaghetti. The first line of As Ever items were created in partnership with Netflix following the show.
Can You Shop As Ever In The UK?
Currently, As Ever products are available for purchase in the US only, however there are plans to expand globally. Everything is currently sold out online, but more seasonal drops will follow. You can sign up to her newsletter to stay tuned on upcoming launches.
