Fancy a glass?
Home bars might be becoming commonplace in high-end homes, but if you’re short on space, there’s a solution: wine furniture. Here’s everything you need to know.
What Is Wine Furniture?
For the viticulturally inclined, wine cellars (or at least dazzling wine fridges) are a must. But who says you can’t show off your collection in your living room, too? Wine cabinet specialists at EuroCave have created what just might be the most elegant form of wine storage around: dedicated ‘wine furniture’.
Blending architectural design with high-tech wine preservation, these sleek sideboards are essentially self-contained wine cellars. You can fit up to 50 bottles inside, and each cabinet boasts two separate compartments that can each be adjusted to a distinct temperature – allowing both red and white wines to be brought to their ideal serving temperature at the same time. You can even change the lighting on different shelves, too (to highlight specific bottles, of course).
Forget vertical wine racks or bulky fridges; this is a wine cellar that can sit right next to your sofa. To make sure it fits perfectly into your space, you can choose between three luxurious finishes – light oak, pure white, and ‘smoked brown’ – and three shelving options, and there’s even the opportunity to add an engraved plaque. You’ll just need a cool £18,000 if you want to invest in this particular piece of furniture…
EuroCave’s Harmonie wine cellars are available online or in their boutiques, with prices starting at £18,028.20 (including delivery and installation). eurocave.co.uk
