1. My Life as a Courgette

A translation of Claude Barras’ touching animation from the original French. Orphaned and alone in a hostile foster home, Courgette (or is he Zucchini?) is befriended by Raymond the Policeman. Out now.

2. Wonder Woman

This summer’s Wonder Woman reveals our heroine’s origins as an Amazonian princess. Called to save the world from catastrophe, she discovers her dynamic powers. Out now.

3. Despicable Me 3

Animation at its most hilarious and inventive. Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig star alongside South Park co-creator Trey Parker as the villainous ’80s-obsessed former child star Balthazar Bratt- you won’t want to miss out either. Out 30 June.

4. Cars 3

Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) is a car on a mission. After a flush of losing races and a terrible crash, his new management want him to call it quits and go into retirement. With top rate animation and voiceovers, Cars 3 promises to be the talk of the playground. Out 14 July.

5. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Dreamworks’ latest project features two young Ohio lads who magically transform their old high school head into a laughable superhero. Exhaustive remake of the original novel by Dav Pilkey. Out 28 July.
