Christine McVie might have toured the world with Fleetwood Mac, but she had a real soft spot for London – so much so that, in 2015, she sold her manor house in Kent and purchased this rather magnificent penthouse in Belgravia.

Set across the top two floors of a gorgeous stucco-fronted building in Eaton Place, the apartment is complete with two reception rooms, three bedrooms, a sunny kitchen/breakfast room and a study. You’ll also spot a sprawling roof garden commanding far-reaching views of the city.

Christine herself oversaw the bespoke design of the kitchen, which is fitted with timber-panelled Shaker cabinets, oak worktops and warm yellow tiles – plus a breakfast bar and plenty of integrated appliances. Meanwhile, the handsome double reception room boasts two separate seating areas and three sash windows, with the elegant ten-seat dining room standing proudly behind a set of double doors. On the upper level, the luxurious principal bedroom features a vaulted ceiling, a luxurious dressing area and a huge bathroom.

Following Christine’s death in 2022, the possessions in her Belgravia apartment were auctioned by Julien’s Auctions in Nashville and the proceeds sent to a number of music-related charities. The spectacular home has now been carefully updated by designer Simon Buhl Davis, though Christine’s elegant design choices have been carefully preserved.
