Inside the tallest residential building in Zone One

From a penthouse with a private cinema to a development with its own golf simulator, there’s more than a handful of impressive properties on the market in London, and River Park Tower is no exception: it’s kitted out with a games room, a play room, and even a karaoke room – and since it’s the tallest residential building in London’s Zone One, it boasts some spectacular views, too. Here’s everything you need to know.

The recently-unveiled show homes at River Park Tower just might take your breath away – and that’s before you’ve taken a glimpse at the spectacular skyline views.

Such views are thanks to the building’s dizzying scale (it comprises 57 storeys and 334 apartments), while the enviable interiors are courtesy of Angel O’Donnell, a London-based interior design studio. River Park Tower forms the first of two landmark residential buildings at One Nine Elms, a brand new development just a stone’s throw from Battersea Power Station. (Soon, it will also be home to the first Park Hyatt hotel in London.)

Alongside four gorgeous show apartments, Angel O’Donnell was responsible for designing River Park Tower’s jaw-dropping amenities, which include a games room, a boardroom, a huge children’s playroom and a 50th floor residents’ lounge, as well as (perhaps most excitingly) a dedicated karaoke room. Now that’s luxury.

The picture-perfect spaces are bursting with colour and bold prints, all paired with meticulously-chosen furniture that blends sophistication with an undeniable sense of fun. Expect a desk made from a single sheet of glass, soft furnishings made from Chinese silk, and statement wallpapers from world-renowned design house GP & J Baker.

Boardroom with red leather-topped table and geometric wooden art piece

In the boardroom (which doubles as a private dining area), you’ll spot a red leather-topped table and an enormous geometric art piece fashioned from wooden veneers. The karaoke room is finished with sumptous velvet seating, while the games room is complete with everything from retro Pac Man to the latest games consoles (and even shuffleboard, if you want to go analogue).

All of these stunning facilities occupy a rather enviable position on the 31st floor of the building – so you can make the most of those magnificent views while you battle it out at game night or perfect your rendition of ‘Mr Brightside’.

Children's play area with cloud motifs

Even the enormous children’s playroom (which features perhaps the most chic soft play area you can imagine) is located on the same floor, so weary parents don’t have to resign themselves to hours spent in a dingy basement room while their kids clamber down plastic slides. There might be no such thing as a perfect property, but River Park Tower certainly comes close.

Prices at River Park Tower start from £1.045 million. For more information, visit riverparktower.com
