Let the games begin…

Consider yourself a castle core convert after watching The Traitors? You’ll want to check out this four-bedroom castle in Devon, which has just hit the market. If you’ve got a spare £1.5 million and a penchant for medieval interiors (or just gallivanting around the countryside like Claudia Winkleman), this one’s for you.

This Traitors-Style Castle Is Up For Sale

Watch enough of The Traitors and you just might start picturing yourself living in a castle – and although the real Traitors castle isn’t exactly easy to visit, the Grade II listed Tawstock Castle has just hit the market.

Perched on a hilltop within almost nine acres of land, this Bailey castle is a historical gem. Although parts date back as far as the 18th century, the property has been meticulously restored and extended to create a fantastic family home.

From castellated battlements to stone arches and spiral staircases, this is truly a Traitors-style home. Inside, you’ll find four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a grand reception room boasting a panelled ceiling, an ornate fireplace and a woodburning stove – not to mention a magnificent King Arthur Round Table.

One of the turrets is home to a rather impressive study, while the circular kitchen is complete with a handsome AGA. You’ll also find a castellated roof terrace and even a Lookout Tower, which offers panoramic views of the North Devon countryside and the Taw Valley. What more could you ask for?
