It’s a Belgravia beauty

On the lookout for a London pad? This Belgravia townhouse boasts exquisite interior design by Banda, the property practice founded by Princess Beatrice’s husband. It’s a real stunner – but it’ll cost you a pretty penny.

A Home Designed By Princess Beatrice’s Husband Is Up For Sale

Standing proudly in Chelsea Barracks – a landmark, ultra-luxurious development in Belgravia – is 4 Mulberry Square, a magnificent townhouse boasting design by none other than Edo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice’s husband. The five-bedroom property amasses more than 10,000 square feet of space, with every inch meticulously considered by Edo and his team at Banda, a multidisciplinary property practice based in London.

Banda helped to perfect everything from the property’s indoor swimming pool and spa to its jaw-dropping gym (while further first-class amenities include a sauna, steam room, wine room and cinema). For an ultra-luxurious finishing touch, the team even worked with perfume house Zelinkski and Rosen to create a bespoke scent which complements the interior design.

You’ll spot an array of incredible pieces throughout the home; a bespoke Coral and Hive rug (created on one of the largest looms in Africa) takes pride of place in the informal living room, while a breathtaking sculpted marble mirror by Pierre Augustin Rose hangs in the study. Edo himself noted that Banda placed real emphasis on one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted pieces, all of which offer ‘a window into each and every person involved in the journey of this design.’

Banda also collaborated with New York-based designers Studio 27 on a number of pieces, including the gorgeous kitchen table by Arda Yeniay – which sits alongside a custom banquette by Banda – as well as green velvet dining chairs by Laura Gonzalez.

Upstairs, each of the five bedrooms are sumptuous and utterly tranquil (just take a look at the master suite, which spans more than 1,000 square feet and encompasses a dressing area and a bathroom with a freestanding pebble bath). The crowning jewel of the property, however, is a breathtaking roof terrace, which offers glorious views of the capital.

With such stunning interiors, sprawling spaces and enviable amenities, this really is the height of luxury – with a £42 million price tag to match.
