Everyman Screen On The Canal

Want to watch Wimbledon in London waterside? This buzzy, free-to-visit King’s Cross open air cinema will kick off its 2024 season with Wimbledon screenings from midday every afternoon from 1–14 July, followed by movies in the evening once the action is over.

Screen On The Water

St Katharine Docks’ popular summer pop up is back for 2024: Screen on the Water will welcome fans to watch the entire Wimbledon Tennis Championships in central London, perfect for fans who didn’t manage to get their paws on tickets. This floating pontoon is a unique viewing spot, perfect for catching the finest rallies, aces, and drop shots from the world’s greatest players while you sip drinks from the pop up bar.

Covent Garden Piazza

Snag front row seats to all of the Wimbledon action at Covent Garden Piazza, where a huge screen will showcase back to back matches throughout the tournament (1–14 July). Enjoy it with a crisp glass of Pimm’s for the quintessential British Wimbledon watching experience.

Tucked away in Belgravia, this picturesque suntrap will welcome visitors to watch Wimbledon from the comfort of a deck chair. Portman Square Gardens

Marylebone’s Portman Square Gardens has reliably invited locals and visitors alike to watch Wimbledon in London for a decade now. The Square will return for 2024 and screen every match from 9–14 July, inviting visitors to park up on a deck chair with a refreshing drink from Home House, refuelling with hot treats from Guest Kitchen.

Centre Court-Yard

Ham Yard Hotel is partnering with London Essence and Sipsmith this summer to introduce its Centre Court-Yard, where Wimbledon matches will be screened everyday from 11am throughout the tournament, with drinks served in the space until 10.30pm. Enjoy strawberries and cream washed down with a themed cocktail: the Sloe-Motion Serve and the Perfect Volley Iced Tea.

New Street Square

Nestled in the City is New Street Square, which will be streaming Wimbledon matches Monday–Friday throughout the tournament. There’s space for a whopping 500 guests, making for the perfect spot to pass by, settle in, and enjoy the action.

Everyman On The Water

South-west Londoner wondering where to watch Wimbledon al fresco? New for 2024 is Everyman on the Water at The Brentford Water Project, which will kick off its first season as a free-to-visit open air cinema with daily Wimbledon screenings from midday everyday from 1–14 July.

Islington Square

Tucked away on Upper Street, Islington Square will host free Wimbledon screenings in partnership with Urban Food Fest, featuring deck chairs and plenty of grassed space to spread out a picnic blanket. Tuck into food from Megan’s, OMNOM, Bewliehill, Selv Roastery and The Great Chase, plus cocktails from The Bottle Cocktail Shop.

Merchant Square

Spitalfields

Spitalfields is kicking off a summer of sports screening with Wimbledon – with matches screened everyday from 1–14 July – followed by the Olympics, the cricket and the Paralympics. Cheer your top player on and catch every moment thanks to a 188-inch screen perched with ample seating space on Bishops Square. Settle into a deckchair, but don’t get too comfortable: the surrounding food vendors will be offering hard-to-refuse promotions when you need to refuel.

Borough Yards

Borough Yards is being taken over by our summer of sport, kicking off with Wimbledon from 1–14 July. Around 100 people can sit and stand at Soap Yard, where the screen will be located, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to enjoy in the surrounding Borough Yards.

The Refinery Bankside

For a lively atmosphere, head to Southwark’s The Refinery to find one of the largest outdoor screens in London – perfect for Wimbledon viewing. Enjoy it with a cocktail, beer and cider on tap and a special Wimbledon Platter.
