Celebrity Bake Off 2025: Judges, Line-Up, Release Date

Who Are The Judges For Celebrity Bake Off 2025?

Paul Hollywood is set to return to judge the celebrity’s baking skills, however Prue Leith won’t be appearing on this series. In her place will be one of her longtime friends, Caroline Waldegrave OBE, former Managing Director and co-owner of Leiths School of Food and Wine.

Prue, 84, has featured as a judge on the show since 2017, but in 2024 she announced she was taking a break from the celebrity version. ‘[The one] I’m not doing this year is the celebrity one and it’s mainly because these things are filmed back-to-back the whole way through the summer,’ she said during an interview on This Morning.

She added: ‘You start in April, and you end in August and honestly, you get no time off. And so, I’m getting a bit old and there are places I want to go to and other things I want to do.’

Who Are The Hosts?

Despite speculation he may be stepping down due to health issues, Noel Fielding will be returning to co-host the show alongside Alison Hammond.

What’s The Format?

The format of Celebrity Bake Off is similar to the regular version, with the contestants competing to impress the judges with their baking across three challenges: the signature, the technical and the showstopper. However, instead of week-by-week eliminations, each episode features four different celebrities, with one being crowned Star Baker.

Celebrity Bake Off is part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser for Cancer Research UK, with viewers encouraged to donate to the cause while watching the show. Over the years, the initiative has raised over £113 million, which has gone towards funding clinical trials and research projects.

What Is The Release Date?

We haven’t got a specific date just yet, but it’s thought the series will air on Channel 4 in spring 2025.
