Devoured the third season of Clarkson’s Farm when it first aired last year? Fear not, there’s more to come: season four of the hit Prime Video show is on its way. So what can we expect from Clarkson’s Farm season 4?
Clarkson’s Farm Season 4: Release Date & What To Expect
What Will Happen In Clarkson’s Farm Season 4?
Since you’re here, no doubt you’re already familiar with the concept of Clarkson’s Farm, but here’s a recap just in case. The reality TV series follows former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson as he navigates life on his farm, Diddly Squat in the Cotswolds, alongside his girlfriend Lisa Hogan and young farmer Kaleb Cooper (the show’s breakout star).
Season 3 saw the team facing a whole set of new challenges, from rising prices in farm supplies to failing crops and dreams of the restaurant being dashed. Another big storyline was the introduction of pigs to the farm, which proved trickier than Clarkson and Hogan had anticipated. So what will the new season bring?
Prime’s official synopsis reads: ‘Kaleb is on a nationwide tour, Lisa is working on a new product line, and Jeremy is left to run the farm alone. In Kaleb’s absence, Jeremy must keep Diddly on track and comes up with an idea.’
We’re told season 4 will also document Clarkson’s mission to set up a pub, The Farmer’s Dog. Opened in August 2024 just down the road from Diddly Squat, the pub is all about celebrating produce from British farms, alongside Clarkson’s own beer brand Hawkstone. Unsurprisingly it has been hugely popular, with fans travelling from all over the country for a Sunday roast and a pint, although Clarkson has been candid about the financial difficulties in running it.
‘The road to becoming a pub landlord isn’t straightforward,’ reads the synopsis. ‘Jeremy faces obstacles including derelict buildings, red tape and a picnic site with a colourful past. Cheerful Charlie lends a hand, but even he isn’t prepared for the challenges that arise once Jeremy finds his perfect pub.’
Prince William Will Star In Clarkson’s Farm Season 4
Alongside the familiar faces of Jeremy, Kaleb and Charlie Ireland, there will be a very special appearance in Clarkson’s Farm season 4 – a royal one, no less. Prince William is set to star in the series, after he was spotted being filmed with Kaleb and Charlie by the Prime Video crew at Folly Farm in Somerset in March 2025.
The Prince of Wales’ trip to Somerset was part of his campaign raising awareness of mental health care for farmers with charity We Are Farming Minds, so we expect some discussion of this to feature in season 4. Kaleb is a longstanding proponent of the importance of a simple chat: speaking to one another candidly about our feelings.
While Clarkson’s Farm has been renewed for season 5, we’re still yet to see season 4, and we haven’t been told filming has wrapped yet. However, it could be that Prince William’s cameo is saved for the fifth instalment. Stay tuned for more.
