Britain’s Best Easter Egg Hunts 2025

The Big Egg Hunt, London

Elephant Family and Clarence Court are reuniting once again, but this year their annual Little Egg Hunt has grown into The Big Egg Hunt. A city-wide spectacle of egg-cellent art, expect to find more than 100 large-scale eggs decorated by illustrious names from art, design, architecture and beyond spanning Anya Hindmarch, LUAP, Fortnum & Mason, Chopard, Philip Colbert, Duncan Campbell, Charlotte Rey and more. For the first time this year, an app is available to download, including a map and allowing adventurers to tick eggs off their list – and also reveal prizes along the way. And if you’d like to take an egg home for yourself, bid in the silent auction here, with all funds raised going to Elephant Family.

Eden Project’s Giant Egg Trail, Cornwall

The Eden Project team has scattered a handful of giant eggs across their iconic domes, with each telling an insightful tale about nature. Collect a stamp at each egg to claim a sweet treat at the end of the trail. Among the big eggs, hundreds of eggs of all shapes and sizes are hidden across the Eden Project; anyone who guesses exactly how many there are is in with the chance of winning a special Easter hamper. Elsewhere, guests can enjoy seasonal games and new wildflower-inspired artwork across the site.

London Zoo’s Zoonormous Egg Hunt, London

Eggs are everywhere at Easter, but nowhere more than a zoo. London Zoo will be celebrating all of its egg-laying creatures this Easter – including reptiles, birds, fish and butterflies – with its Zoonormous Egg Hunt. The free family trail guides visitors around the Zoo, where eggs of all sizes and colours are waiting to be discovered, while learning about egg-ceptional species along the way. Solve the clues at each checkpoint to crack the code, revealing the Golden Egg in a special, hidden location. Successful egg-splorers will be rewarded with a tasty treat at the end.

RHS Hyde Hall, Essex

A whole host of seasonal activities are taking over RHS Hyde Hall this Easter holiday, from storytelling to a giant bubble show. But it’s the annual Easter egg hunt that has our attention: with a special code breaking theme, budding detectives embark on a quest for the brightly coloured eggs hidden around the garden – rewarded with a chocolate treat at the end, of course.

Good Egg/Bad Egg Trail At Bodmin Jail,

Easter egg hunt in a former jail? Crime-fighting littlies will love Bodmin Jail’s unique setting: a former prison turned hotel and exhibition space, hosting immersive exhibitions and chilling paranormal experiences. On the egg hunt, guests are invited to wander through the old, mysterious rooms of Bodmin Jail, encountering interactive challenges, riddles, and puzzles en route, helping you decipher which eggs are naughty and which are nice. Along the way, you’ll learn intriguing facts about the history of the jail, the people who once roamed its corridors, and the stories that bring the place to life.

Easter Egg Hunt At Attingham Park, Shropshire

An Easter themed trail is ripe and ready for exploring at Attingham Park this Easter, featuring 10 spring-themed stations to complete before your chocolatey egg prize at the end.

108 Brasserie’s Easter Egg Hunt, Marylebone

The Marylebone hotel’s 108 Brasserie’s annual Easter egg hunt is back for 2025, hiding 108 eggs around pretty Marylebone and challenging guests to scour the leafy squares and cobblestone streets to find each and every one. Be quick: each egg harbours a very special prize from the area’s beloved brands, from Bayley & Sage to Rococo Chocolates, Caroline Gardner to Tracy Neuls.
