Here's what you need to know

A starry roster of talent is slated to perform at FireAid at the end of this month, a Live Aid style mega-concert raising funds for fire relief efforts in California amid the ongoing devastating Greater Los Angeles wildfires. Here’s everything we know so far.

FireAid 2025: Dates, Line-Up, Tickets

‘An evening of music and solidarity’: this is how FireAid is being described by its organisers, who have revealed a glittering line-up of musicians ready to perform in aid of the wildfires that have wreaked havoc in and around Los Angeles over the past two weeks. The funds raised are ‘dedicated to rebuilding communities’ and will be ‘distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation’ for both short-term relief and long-term preventative measures across southern California.

Who Will Perform?

Billie Eilish and brother Finneas, Joni Mitchell, Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks, Katy Perry, Sting, Green Day and Jelly Roll are all on the FireAid line-up. They will be joined by the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Gwen Stefani, Lil Baby, Pink, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Tate McRae and Dave Matthews with John Mayer, with more artists still to be announced.

Eilish has long been passionate and vocal about the climate crisis, so it comes as no surprise she would perform at FireAid. Her most recent album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, was her most eco-friendly to date, with reduced vinyl variants made with recycled materials, merchandise crafted using dead stock and recycled materials, and FSC certified eco-friendly packaging. Vegan and opposed to private jets, Eilish also encourages her fans to take climate action – rewarding them with free tickets to her concerts when they do. ‘The fact that I have a far bigger audience and platform than I’ve ever had in my life means I can reach that many more people, and that’s such a huge responsibility and privilege to have,’ Eilish said at the time. ‘If I don’t use that privilege to do some good in the world, then what’s the point?’

Where & When?

FireAid will take place on 30 January at two venues in Inglewood, California: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum. The concerts will begin at 6pm PST and run in tandem.

The benefit concert will take place just a few days before the 67th Grammy Awards, with the ceremony being held on 2 February 2025. Last week, rumours swirled that the Grammys may be cancelled as the fires raged on, but the Recording Academy has confirmed the show will go on, albeit with ‘a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.’

How To Get FireAid Tickets

FireAid tickets will go on sale at noon PST on Wednesday 22 January via Ticketmaster.

If you miss out on tickets, fear not: FireAid will also air live in select AMC cinemas in the US, as well as on Apple Music, Apple TV, HBO Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps and YouTube – so plenty of opportunities to watch and/or listen in.

Is There A Presale?

There will not be a ticket presale for FireAid, ‘in an effort to give everyone an equal opportunity to attend,’ the organisers say.
