The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo top a pop-filled bill for Glastonbury Festival 2025, returning to Worthy Farm in June 2025
Akin to Desert Island Discs and Off Menu, contemplating your dream Glastonbury line up is a fun pastime for music lovers – but it shoulders a bit more weight when the £370 tickets are already in your back pocket. So how does the 2025 Glastonbury line up stack up with your dreams? If you’re a fan of pop music, it’s probably ideal: cross-genre pop-rock band The 1975 and bonafide punk-pop star Olivia Rodrigo are joined by 2024’s hottest dance artist Charli XCX, sad-pop star Gracie Abrams and newcomer Lola Young. Who else? Here’s what you need to know.
The Glastonbury Line Up For 2025 In Full (So Far)
Around 90 artists have been revealed, but this makes up just one percent of the artists that will ultimately perform at Glastonbury Festival, formally known as the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts. Comedy, theatre and circus acts will also perform, as well as Glastonbury’s reluctantly famous ‘secret sets’.
Here’s a taste of the line up: The 1975, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, Olivia Rodrigo, Rod Stewart, Charli XCX, Loyle Carner, Biffy Clyro, Raye, The Prodigy, Noah Kahan, Doechii, Alanis Morissette, Busta Rhymes, Deftones, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Wolf Alice, Ezra Collective, Gracie Abrams, Wet Leg, Beabadoobee, Jorja Smith, The Libertines.

More acts are still to be announced, with fans clinging onto hopes that Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Sam Fender might show their faces.

The 1975 Headline Glastonbury For The First Time
Wait, hasn’t The 1975 topped the Glasto bill before? Not so – though they are festival veterans, with three Reading and Leeds headlining gigs under their belts and plenty of Glastonbury performances.
Frontman Matty Healy is notoriously provocative – chewing raw meat on stage, snogging fans and facing an anti-LGBT court case in Malaysia after kissing his bandmate on stage over the course of their most recent tour alone – so we’re certain they’ll put on a good show.

Olivia Rodrigo Is Glastonbury’s Second Youngest Headliner Ever
Aged just 22, Olivia Rodrigo is Glastonbury’s first ever headliner to have risen to fame in the 2020s, and is the youngest star to headline second only to Billie Eilish who was 20 when she topped the bill in 2022.
This isn’t Rodrigo’s Glastonbury debut: she drew a huge crowd to the Other Stage when she last played the festival in 2022, and in 2025 she will light up the Pyramid Stage. Two days ahead of Glasto, Rodrigo is headlining BST in London. With two albums to her name – Sour (2021) and Guts (2023) – expect plenty of pop-punk scream/sing-alongs.

Brat Summer 2.0
Charli XCX made her Glastonbury debut in 2014, and she will return to the Other Stage in 2025 for another go at her all-consuming 2024 brat summer. While fans were vying for Rihanna on the bill, there’s no doubt Charli XCX is one of the UK’s biggest and brightest pop stars right now – and a move away from the Pyramid Stage (and its BBC One broadcast) will free the hedonistic star from any constraints. Expect a frenetic performance brimming with club sounds and dancing.
Has Glastonbury Missed The Mark?
Glastonbury is all about the balance of old and new, rock and pop. While the popstars at the top of the bill are stealing the spotlight, rest assured that there are artists to serve every generation on the 2025 Glastonbury line up. Rod Stewart will fill this year’s ‘Legend’ slot and Neil Young is Saturday night’s headliner, while Gary Numan, The Prodigy and Franz Ferdinand are just a few of the esteemed names from decades passed to join them on the bill. More recent classics include Scissor Sisters, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, Weezer and The Script.
As far as rock and more experimental indie music is concerned, Biffy Clyro, Wet Leg, Blossoms, Japanese Breakfast, Wolf Alice and The Libertines all check that box. Rap fans will enjoy Fatboy Slim, Kneecap, Loyle Carner and the genre’s hottest new artist, Doechii.
Can I Still Get Tickets?
Glastonbury tickets went on sale in November 2024 – and, as always, sold out pretty swiftly. But this isn’t the end of the road: if you missed out the first time around, a ticket resale will give fans a second opportunity to go to Glastonbury thanks to ticketholders relinquishing their tickets (whether they can no longer go or don’t like the look of the line up).
The resale happens in April. Find out more at glastonburyfestivals.co.uk
When Is Glastonbury 2026?
Glastonbury Festival is taking a fallow year in 2026, meaning the April resale is your last chance to get Glastonbury tickets before 2027. Good luck!
