The Judges
As ever, we gathered an exemplary panel of expert industry judges to closely and carefully go through all the award entries. We then met up in person for a collaborative final decision-making session.Â

Chief Executive of the British Fashion CouncilÂ
Caroline champions British fashion on a global stage and drives initiatives for sustainability and innovation. She has been instrumental in supporting emerging talent and fostering industry growth.
Busola EvansÂ
Advisory board member of Women In JournalismÂ
An interiors journalist for more than 20 years, Busola is also on is the steering committee of United In Design, a charity formed to tackle the lack of diversity in the UK’s interiors industry.  Â
Simonetta Rigo
Rathbones’ Chief Client OfficerÂ
With 25 years’ experience in financial services, Simonetta joined Rathbones in 2024 to lead client and adviser proposition development, marketing and client experience.
Sian Westerman
Non-Executive DirectorÂ
Sian is Chair of Strathberry and Fenwick, with extensive non-executive experience across retail, fashion and beauty. She is actively involved in arts philanthropy, including as Trustee of the Barbican.
Jamila Saidi
UK Department for Business & Trade Â
Jamila leads the Digital Commerce division at the UK’s Department for Business & Trade (DBT) where she’s responsible for trade and investment promotion across a wide range of sectors.

BEST EMERGING BRAND
Awarded to a young brand that has continually pushed boundaries in the last decade to achieve a level of excellence, while never compromising on its commitment to the planet and community. Â
Winner: East London Parasol Company Ltd
Its vibrant and imaginative designs thrill and delight the owners of these beautiful products, which fuse traditional craftsmanship with contemporary British creativity. Celebrating global artistry and sustainable practices, the brand which launched in 2015 and is headed up by Lucy Ferguson, brings a smile to one’s face – which the judges loved.
Highly commended: Difference Coffee
Difference Coffee elevates the coffee experience by sourcing the world’s rarest and finest beans. To have such market penetration with the world’s top chefs already (and especially in countries that pride themselves on their coffee) is seriously impressive. The judges praised it for its strong community involvement, particularly in educating women and offering fair employment. Â

COMMITMENT TO CRAFT
Awarded to a brand that has shown a continuous commitment to its artisans, constantly employing their skills to design its products.Â
Winner: Royal Shakespeare Company
The RSC continuously redefines Shakespearean theatre through innovation and excellence and the judges loved how they are making Shakespeare accessible and engaging for young people. From staging groundbreaking productions like My Neighbour Totoro and The Tempest – blending artistry with cutting-edge technology – to its education programmes reaching half a million children annually, the RSC has consolidated both its artistic, social and cultural impact. Its dedication to sustainability and global collaborations further solidifies its role as a beacon of creativity and craft in British arts.  Â
Highly commended: Swaine London
One of the oldest brands in the world has found new polish with a gorgeous flagship in Bond Street, where customers can see the dedication to preserving traditional British craftsmanship at play in store. Its iconic collaborations – including Mary Poppins and Indiana Jones – are a vital and thrilling part of its story.Â

COMMITMENT TO THE PLANET
Awarded to a brand that has shown an outstanding commitment to innovating to create planet and people friendly products or services.
Winner: Native Land
Native Land’s Bankside Yards development is the UK’s first fossil fuel-free major mixed-use project. The 1.4 million sq ft development incorporates innovative features such as a fifth-generation energy sharing network, which balances thermal energy across eight buildings, significantly reducing operational energy use. Additionally, it achieves net-zero carbon emissions in operation, with all energy sourced from renewables.
The project also prioritises biodiversity, transforming a brownfield site into 3.5 acres of green public spaces, planting over 150 trees, and creating biodiverse roofs – and has substantial community-based initiatives. The judges think that it sets an inspiring precedent for an industry that is not known for its sustainability standards.Â

Edward Bulmer Natural Paints are trailblazers in an industry that often goes below the sustainability radar. Its products are not only prestige and beautiful but are as low impact environmentally as it’s possible to be. Other brands, take note.Â

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
Awarded to a brand that has demonstrably continued supporting all its employees and people along its value and supply chains.
Winner: Battersea Power Station
The redevelopment of Battersea Power Station has transformed South London, driving both economic vitality and community engagement. Judges praised the project for its charitable initiatives and commitment to revitalising the local area, creating an environment that thrives on a sense of community. As a unique fusion of retail and tech innovation, the Battersea Power Station development has become a family-friendly destination, regularly hosting community events that strengthen local ties. Its prime location along the river, coupled with excellent transport links, ensures easy access for both visitors and employees.Â
Highly commended: Grantley HallÂ
Located in North Yorkshire, this relatively new luxury hotel is already making waves with its commitment to supporting local people and businesses. Through its employee development programs, like the Grantley Academy and Chefs Academy, the hotel has created 400 jobs while offering comprehensive wellbeing initiatives. There are additional and signifiant philanthropic and charity contributions.

PRODUCT OF THE DECADE
Awarded to a brand chosen at the judges’ discretion that exemplifies how a brand excels in every sphere.Â
Winner: Eve Lom Cleansing Balm
Eve Lom’s Cleansing Balm was launched in 1986, and has claimed cult classic status as the first cleansing balm ever created. It is still as popular today as it ever was – with a pot being sold every 30 seconds. It revolutionised the skincare industry with its luxurious, multi-benefit formula – and signature muslin cloth. Combining natural ingredients like chamomile oil, eucalyptus oil, and cocoa butter, it cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates in one step. Â
Highly commended: Fentimans Pink Lemonade
Instantly recognisable with a beautiful fusion of cultures in its backstory, yet also distinctly British, the brand has worn its heritage lightly and constantly kept it coolly updated.

Winner: Neal’s Yard Remedies
Neal’s Yard impressed everyone with its pioneering commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and wellness. Helmed by the brilliant, energetic and passionate Anabel Kindersley, the brand seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary values to set a gold standard for conscious consumerism. Its iconic blue bottles are endlessly distinctive and Anabel’s activism and fight for the protection of our dwindling bee population is an inspiration to us all.

Renowned for its iconic prints and commitment to craftsmanship, Sanderson has remained a leader in interiors, but it is its innovative collaborations, exciting design direction and nurturing of the next generation that most impressed the judges.
