Design Centre Chelsea Harbour – For the best in design and decoration, step into the glamorous world of Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. Decorex – An unparalleled opportunity for interior design professionals to discover exquisite creations from over 400 international exhibitors, Decorex returns as Europe’s leading interior design event. As the centrepiece of London Design Festival, Decorex will bring you the finest furniture, lighting, textiles, craft and accessories from emerging and established names alike. designjunction – This year, designjunction will take over the South Bank, London’s most iconic cultural and creative hub – centrally located and surrounded by landmark architecture, this prime destination attracts an estimated 25 million visitors each year. Taking place across three key locations including Doon Street site, Oxo Tower Wharf and Riverside Walkway – a mix of design, fashion and technology alongside pop-up shops, installations and interactive features as well as delicious food.
Lapada – Since its inception in 2009, the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair has grown to become a foremost international showcase for art and antiques, as well as one of the most prestigious events on the London social calendar. It’s one of only two yearly events to grace the beautiful Berkeley Square. At the heart of the modern, cosmopolitan city yet steeped in historical resonance, the location could not be more fitting. 100 exhibitors present work from across the art, antiques, design and decorative arts spectrum. Including jewellery, furniture, carpets, tapestries, antiquities, clocks, ceramics, silver and fine art, authenticity is assured thanks to a 70-member specialist committee pre-vetting everything on sale. CDH x Geronimo Exhibiting as part of Shoreditch Design Triangle, Cameron Design House has teamed up with Los Angeles-based balloon artist Geronimo to create an immersive light installation for London Design Festival 2018. Located in the heart of Shoreditch these two sculptural mediums collide for the first time in an unexpected and visually immersive experience around light, latex and luxury. The multi-sensory four-day event will feature Cameron Design House’s unique contemporary Helmi chandelier’s alongside Geronimo’s eccentric balloon sculptures, to create a single explosion of colour and creativity. 7 Dray Walk, The Old Truman Brewery, London E1 6NJ, 20-23 September.
Rainforest Liaigre collaborates with ceramic artist Valeria Nascimento to design Rainforest, an immersive installation made of thousands of ceramic pieces. Valeria Nascimento’s creation invites guests on a journey through different floras and peaceful scenery. Style at Liaigre is expressed through the most refined materials and know-hows, particularly through a selection of different varieties and finishes of wood. Rainforest embodies modernity with no pretention using white porcelain to represent wood and nature. Liaigre Mayfair showroom, from 15 – 23 September.
