Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have named their newborn daughter Sienna Elizabeth.
Princess Beatrice tweeted the name of the newest addition to the Royal family, along with an image of the baby’s footprints.
She wrote: ‘We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna.’

Beatrice is stepmother to her husband’s son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.
The baby is the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild and is therefore 11th in line for the throne.
On Instagram, Mr Mapelli Mozzi said: ‘These are the days I never want to forget,’ thanking the team at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where Sienna was born at 11.42 on 18th September, weighing 6lb 2oz.

The property tycoon, Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s Instagram post features the date of Sienna’s birth, along with her full name written in an artistic manner. An image of the baby’s feet seems to be a popular way modern royals are announcing the birth of their children, particularly since it’s both commemorative and protects the privacy of the family. Harry and Meghan in 2018 published a photograph of their first child, Archie’s feet, whilst he was being cradled.
Princess Beatrice is the eldest daughter of the Duke and his ex-wife, Sarah Duchess of York, and this is her first child. This is the Duke and Duchess’ second grandchild after Princess Eugenie gave birth to a boy named August earlier this year.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi married in 2020 during the pandemic in a secret lockdown wedding, in which the Princess reworked a dress previously owned by the Queen.
