A Free Taylor Swift Concert Is Coming To Wembley Park Next Week

Missed out on Taylor Swift tickets? Taylor On Strings: Where, When & How To Get Tickets

Queen of pop Taylor Swift took over Wembley Park earlier this summer, with three sell-out concerts on 21, 22 and 23 June bringing the world’s attention to the British capital – and a barrage of celebrity fans to boot. But luckily, that was not London’s final goodbye: The Eras Tour will return to Wembley Stadium for five more dates in August (15–20 August, excluding 18 August), bringing the singer’s total Wembley shows to a whopping eight – the most stops in any one city on the whole Tour. Lucky us.

Before then, however, the City String Ensemble will kick off the leg with a free al fresco performance dedicated to Swift’s hits right beside the famed stadium in Wembley Park.

Visitors can expect more than a dozen innovative string interpretations of Swift’s hits from the classically trained dynamic string musicians, including ‘Love Story’, ‘Fortnight’, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘Anti-Hero’, ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Cruel Summer’ and more.

‘We are excited to bring our unique interpretations of Taylor Swift’s music to life at Wembley Park,’ says Sophie Poteratchi, founder and violinist of City String Ensemble. ‘This concert offers an opportunity for Swifties to experience Taylor’s music in a more intimate setting – with our signature style of bringing each song to life with string instruments.’

Elsewhere at Wembley Park, find art including the ‘Swiftie Steps’ by Frank Styles, MurWalls X Humor’s huge Taylor mural on the side of the steps, and ‘Taylor on Tour’, a free outdoor photo exhibition in Arena Square showcasing a selection of images of the singer on The Eras Tour.

Taylor On Strings will take place in The Sound Shell at Wembley Park (London HA9 0WS).

The performance will take place from 6.30pm on Tuesday 13 August 2024.
