Your handy guide to the food festival

We’re coming to the end of festival season – but not before a few big hitters over the Bank Holiday weekend. Always a highlight on the summer calendar is The Big Feastival, the ultimate feel-good foodie event hosted at Blur bassist Alex James’ farm in the Cotswolds. Now in its 13th year, the festival is returning from 23 – 25 August 2024, complete with an exciting line-up of chefs and food spots, plus live music and more.

What To Do & Eat At The Big Feastival

Sample Street Food

Every year, the festival promises an appetizing line-up of street food hotspots. Highlights for 2024 include juicy patties from London favourite Black Bear Burger, pizza from Made of Dough, and crispy fried chicken from Brixton’s Other Side Fried. Renowned Argentinian steak restaurant Gaucho will also be in residence, alongside Greek hotspot Smashing Plates. For a dose of nutrition, there’s festival staple Wholefood Heaven, which returns with its winning buddha bowls. Plus, don’t miss Alex James’ Cheese Hub: a big party complete with guest DJs and all the cheese.

It’s not just about the savoury side though: you’ll find plenty to satisfy your sweet tooth too. Tuck into indulgent cookies from Blondies Kitchen, Belgian chocolate desserts from Chocofruit, and pastries from Project Doughnut. And of course the drinks will be flowing: enjoy G&Ts from Ramsbury Distillery, wine from Bordeaux Wine Bar, margaritas from Cafe Pacifico, frozen cocktails from Whimsical Forager, and much more.
