Inside The Dally, London’s Latest Private Members’ Club

Inside The Dally

Perched on popular Upper Street in the heart of Angel, The Dally flung open its doors in June – to an exclusive coterie of invitees, of course. Set across three floors of a restored period townhouse, The Dally is North London’s first private members’ club – and it’s all about neighbourhood vibes and good times.

Founded by long-time friends and entrepreneurs Caroline Baldwin and Claire Ilardi-Crow (with support from industry stalwarts Matt Hobbs and Jamie Caring), the emphasis is on effortless, understated luxury. The goal is to attract the interesting and the interested – where personalities are valued more than professions – to create a buzzy, social hub backdropped by quiet stylishness. Set across a restored townhouse (with elegant period features retained), the interiors have been expertly and exquisitely designed by BusbyWebb with a host of rooms sprawled across three floors, woven together with a sultry colour palette.

Open seven days a week, The Dally brings central London’s buoyant social atmosphere to Islington, hosting every occasion from late lunches, supper clubs, live music, comedy nights, film screenings, dinner and cocktails with friends, or partying into the early hours. ‘At The Dally each member is part of our intimate community,’ says CMO and co-founder Claire Ilardi-Crow. ‘We’re a place where different views can come together and where you can hang out with friends and meet new faces. We want our members to leave at the end of the day with more than they arrived with – whether that’s due to a great conversation, a thought- provoking event, or hazy memories of too much fun following a night out with friends.’

Designed on a micro-level, sourcing food, drinks, interiors and partnerships from the local area, The Dally is proposed as the first in a series of neighbourhood members’ clubs coming to the streets of London and beyond. ‘We’re creating an intimate place where you always feel at home,’ says CEO and co-founder Caroline Baldwin. ‘A place to catch up with friends, escape for some quiet time, dine with a date or revel in an unexpected chance encounter. You’ll be in great company.’
