After stints in Birmingham and Dublin, it’s finally London’s turn
Could we be any more excited? Unlikely. The FRIENDS Experience has finally landed in London, and we’ve got all the details. Here’s everything you need to know about The One In London, including how to get your paws on tickets.
The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One In London
Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the globally beloved TV series Friends, The FRIENDS™ Experience has officially opened its doors in a brand new location, inviting London fans to step into the world of history’s most famous fictional friendship group.
‘The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in London marks a significant milestone as our second global flagship, continuing our expansion of this beloved attraction,’ says Stacy Moscatelli, Chief Executive Officer of Original X Productions, one of the companies behind the immersive experience. ‘As we celebrate the 5th anniversary of this much-loved experience and the 30th anniversary of the series, we’re thrilled to offer Londoners and visitors the chance to step inside the world of FRIENDS™ and relive their favourite moments. We can’t wait to see everyone in the UK celebrate their FRIENDS™ fandom.’
The FRIENDS™ Experience also has long-term residencies in New York and Boston; The One in London is the first UK long-term residency after a pop-up in Birmingham last year.
What To Expect
The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One In London invites fans to step into painstakingly recreated nostalgia-packed sets, explore the series’ storied history, and recreate their favourite scenes from Friends, whether that’s kicking back in Chandler and Joey’s apartment, noseying around Rachel and Monica’s pad, or settling in on the famous orange couch.
Created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, Original X Productions, and Warner Bros. Television Group, visitors can also take the opportunity to enjoy behind the scenes aspects, including insight from the show’s creators and storytelling from the costume designers, providing a valuable look into the fictional lives of Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Ross. And, exclusively in London, guests can also enjoy content from the series’ iconic London episodes, ‘The One With Ross’ Wedding’ parts one and two, which ended season four with a bang, as well as ‘The One After Ross Says Rachel’, which kicked off season five. There is a set recreation of the wedding scenes, plus a 3D interpretation of Joey’s London map, alongside props, costumes and more.
The FRIENDS™ Experience culminates with a trip to the Big Apple, where fans can snap a pic at Central Perk before stepping into the all-new FRIENDS Station, a subway station inspired by Friends’ New York City setting, with themed food and beverages available to tuck into. Throughout the journey, visitors can also snap-up fun themed merchandise exclusive to The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One In London.
