What Is It About?

The Hunting Party begins with a massive explosion at a prison – a top secret prison that’s not even supposed to exist, with the government hiding them away rather than following through with their death penalties. Called The Pit, it’s filled with the most dangerous killers the nation has ever seen. And that explosion allows some to spill out, run loose, and prepare to wreak havoc.

One is notorious serial killer Robert Harris, and disgraced FBI agent Bex Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh) is called in to hunt him down before he kills again. She is joined by a small team of expert investigators tasked with tracking down and capturing The Pit’s escapees, following the trail of bodies they leave in their wake.

Meanwhile, an insidious question lingers: what caused that explosion? And who wanted this plague of serial killers back out on the streets?

The Hunting Party: Full Episode Release Schedule

The first episode of The Hunting Party aired on a Sunday evening – but this won’t be the case for the rest of the season. Episode 2 will air on Sunday 10 February, more than three weeks later. In fact, the large gap between the first two episodes will be bridged by a repeat of Episode 1.
