Who struck gold at this year's awards?
Stars gathered at the Royal Festival Hall last night for the 2024 TV BAFTAs, the biggest event on the British television calendar.
It was a starry night for BBC drama Happy Valley, with Sarah Lancashire scooping up the Best Leading Actress award for her role as sergeant Catherine Cawood. Netflix‘s Top Boy won big too, taking home the Best Drama and Best Supporting Actress gongs, while Matthew Macfadyen won Best Supporting Actor for his depiction of unabashed social climber Tom Wambsgans in Succession. This year’s event was hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, who also scooped up a win of their own for their show Rob and Romesh VS.
