Meghan Markle’s brand new lifestyle show was supposed to launch on Netflix in January. But as wildfires raged across Southern California at the start of the year, releasing her upbeat, picture-perfect California lifestyle series didn’t seem quite right to the Duchess, who delayed the launch to March, thanking the streamer in a statement ‘for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California’. So what’s happening now? Here’s when we will get to see With Love, Meghan – plus what we can expect when it launches.

With Love, Meghan: What To Expect

Produced by Meghan herself, With Love, Meghan is a lifestyle series all about cooking and hosting. According to Netflix, the Duchess will be joined by friends new and old as she explores how-tos, has candid conversations, shares personal tips and tricks, embraces playfulness and highlights how easy it is to elevate the everyday to beauty. Think cake decorating, flower arranging, tablescaping and more.

‘I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it,’ the star says in the trailer. ‘Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.

‘I’m going to share some little tips and tricks, and how you can incorporate these practices every day,’ she continues. ‘This is about connecting with friends, making new friends and just learning. We’re not in the pursuit of perfection, we’re in the pursuit of joy.

Who Stars?

Meghan will be joined by a selection of her A-list buddies, including Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters and Abigail Waters, ‘with additional acclaimed chefs and special friends,’ Netflix says. They will join Meghan in the kitchen, the garden and even at her beehive.

Will Prince Harry Star?

Though Meghan is the focus, her British prince of a husband, Harry, will occasionally appear in With Love, Meghan beside her.

Is It Filmed In Meghan & Harry’s Real House?

The beautiful kitchen and garden we see in the trailer are not part of Meghan and Harry’s real Montecito family home. Instead, With Love, Meghan was filmed at a rented property nearby – an $8 million farmhouse, no less. According to Realtor, the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom open-plan property is owned by local philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla and nestled on a five acre plot of land. The elegant decor is worthy of a Nancy Meyers movie, which is definitely the vibe Meghan is going for: feminine yet successful, pretty yet capable, beautiful yet comfortable.

Critics have noted the irony: With Love, Meghan is all about authenticity and making viewers ‘feel at home’, and yet the series isn’t even filmed in her own $14.65 million Montecito home. That said, even if authenticity is the goal, Meghan and Harry have never welcomed a camera crew into their real abode; their controversial 2022 Harry & Meghan miniseries was filmed at a different estate close to home – this time a six-bedroom $30 million property on a two acre plot.

Security is certainly an issue – but can a series filmed on a picture-perfect set really market itself as authentic?
