Stylish sips in the city

Prepare to start seeing droves of fashionistas strolling the streets of London this month, as London Fashion Week is returning to the capital. Taking place from 20 – 24 February 2025, the event will see some of the world’s biggest brands setting the trends for AW25 via star-studded runway shows and pop-ups. But where will the city’s style set be heading to let their hair down afterwards? Here we bring you the most fashionable bars in London for 2025.

London’s Most Fashionable Bars

Flute, Soho

London’s hottest hotel right now? Broadwick Soho, the flamboyant venue where Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Timothée Chalamet have all hung out since it opened at the end of 2023. On the rooftop you’ll find Flute, an endlessly stylish bar known for its skyline views, wraparound terrace and maximalist interiors (think mirrored ceilings and animal-print upholstery). The cocktail list is suitably chic, inspired by iconic films shot around Soho, featuring concoctions like Night And The City, made with Sauvelle vodka, lemongrass, pink grapefruit and raspberry.

Plastic Free Bars: Dukes Hotel, Mayfair

Dukes Bar, St James’

Everyone who’s anyone knows that the best martinis in town (and possibly the world) are served by Alessandro Palazzi at Dukes Bar, tucked away in its namesake hotel in St James’. The bar was a haunt of James Bond author Ian Fleming, and is believed to have inspired the classic ‘shaken, not stirred’ line, with drinks created on a little trolley beside your table. Beware: they’re devilishly strong, hence why visitors are limited to two each.

Waeska Bar

Waeska Bar at The Mandrake, Fitzrovia

With its low lighting, sultry vibe and surrealist interiors, The Mandrake is one of London’s most unique hotels, attracting everyone from David Beckham to Selena Gomez over the years. Join the fashion crowd at its bar, Waeska, for a stylish cocktail during LFW. There’s an exotic menu featuring drinks inspired by ethnobotany (the study of a region’s plants and their practical uses), with live DJs from Thursday through to Saturday.

The Coral Room

The Coral Room, Bloomsbury

Maverick designer Martin Brudnizki is behind the vibrant aesthetics of The Coral Room, The Bloomsbury Hotel’s bar, which features bright-hued walls and glass chandeliers. Located round the corner from Covent Garden, it’s just down the road from 180 The Strand, where lots of Fashion Week shows take place, and is always filled with glamorous types. Nab a stool at the bar and order a Strawberry Blonde: a fruity tipple made with Italicus Rosolio di Bergamoto, Savoia Americano, and strawberry sparkling wine.

The Roof Gardens, Kensington

For many years, Kensington Roof Gardens was a nightclub known for its lavish parties, attended by everyone from Kate Moss to Princess Diana. In 2018, the venue closed its doors, but in 2024 it reopened as a glitzy private members’ club. A string of famous faces have been spotted there since its reincarnation: it was the setting for Idris Elba’s birthday party, and fashion brand Self Portrait threw a star-studded summer bash there last year. Will you manage to nab an invite to one of its Fashion Week parties?

Double Standard bar at The Standard, London

Sweeties at The Standard, Kings Cross

The Standard oozes cool, with its playful feel and 70s-style decor. Its uber-trendy rooftop bar Sweeties is known for hosting late-night celebrity shindigs – from the BAFTAs afterparty to a pre-London Pride bash. No doubt it will be getting involved with the Fashion Week fun this February, so if you’re stopping by keep your eyes peeled for some celeb spotting.

Nolita Social, Knightsbridge

Where better for a fashionable drink than the London outpost of Italian jewellery brand Bulgari? Its Knightsbridge hotel is a popular haunt of London’s glitterati, often hosting pop-ups, runway shows and afterparties during Fashion Week. For a taste of New York revelry, visit its underground bar Nolita Social, where there’s a killer cocktail menu, live music and DJs.
