Head here before the summer ends

Ranking the best rooftop drinking spots is no easy feat, but one London location has officially claimed the crown. Perched on top of Bold Tendencies (a vibrant arts space within a multi-storey car park in Peckham) is Frank’s Café, an ultra-Instagrammable location – and it has just been named the best rooftop bar in Europe. Frank’s opened in 2009 and quickly became popular not only for its frozen cocktails and incredible city views, but also for its iconic pink staircases. What more could you want from any bar?
The ranking of Europe’s rooftop bars was conducted as part of a survey by Big 7 Travel, who polled both their social media followers and their own editorial team. Coming in at second place was Azotea del Circulo, an elegant restaurant in Madrid with a peaceful rooftop terrace. Meanwhile, the bar at the top of Reykjavik’s EDITION Hotel scored third place. The full list covered locations in Switzerland, Germany and France as well as Poland, Albania and Lithuania.
