From food tour to bespoke menus, see what to do, where to go and what to eat in our guide to London Restaurant Festival.

Taking place in 350 restaurants across the city, London Restaurant Festival is the celebration of eating out and the perfect opportunity to try the vast amount of new restaurants London has to offer.

It aims to deliver the most memorable and creative events, taking place in the restaurants themselves. These range from chef-hosted lunches to tasting menus and restaurant-hopping tours.

Over 250 restaurants have created bespoke menus for this year’s festival including Fera at Claridge’s, Yauatcha and Roux at the Landau .

Kaspar’s offers dazzling views of the River Thames and London landmarks, informal yet luxurious dining evoking elegant 1920s style.

The Kaspar’s menu sees the finest ingredients sourced from across the British Isles, like Dover sole with brown butter caper sauce, Isle of Skye lobster, or native Loch Ryan oysters. Dishes from the land include venison shepherd’s pie with cranberries, or grilled Salt Marsh lamb cutlets.

Awarded its first Michelin Star within only a few months of opening, Ametsa with Arzak Instruction offers a unique and exquisite take on Basque cuisine.

The menus showcase the finest organic, local produce sourced from land and sea, with guests invited to experience inventive dishes like ‘from egg to chicken’, ‘quick-changing squid’, or ox cheeks with vanilla.

Experimental twists on classics dishes include The Big Truffle clove custard with pineapple ice cream, or French toast with mango and coconut.

Bringing invigorated Chinese cuisine to one of London’s most famous buildings, Hutong is situated on the 33rd floor of The Shard.

The Hutong menu features favourite northern Chinese recipes served with contemporary flair. Enjoy signature dishes like crispy lamb ribs with pancakes, sizzling prawns with jasmine tea leaves, or mango cheesecake with sesame dumplings.

Head to the glossy Shanghai Bar for unrivalled views of the London skyline, and oriental-style cocktails inspired by traditional Chinese medicine.
