Gingerbread Man Recipe
Ingredients
350g plain flour
1tsp bicarb
2 tsp ground ginger
1sp cinnamon
115g butter
175g brown sugar
1 medium egg
4 tbsp syrup
10ml Gordon Castle Gin
Method
(This recipe is for one gingerbread man – so bake more if you’re expecting company…)
- Mix the flour, bicarbonate of soda, ground ginger, cinnamon, butter and brown sugar until you get a bread crumb consistency.
- From there, add the egg, syrup and gin in stages into the mixture, kneading after each.
- Once you are happy that it’s all mixed, roll out and cut him into shape.
- Bake at 170c for 12-15 mins
