How To Make The Viral Strawberry Chocolate Bark

We all love a homemade pudding, but spending hours in the kitchen trying to navigate a tricky recipe with an endless list of ingredients? Not so much. But fear not, TikTokers have found the solution for time-poor chefs after a little treat: frozen desserts. No-bake recipes have soared in popularity on the platform lately, which see ingredients like fruit, dates, yoghurt and chocolate mixed together, then frozen to create a bark-style treat. The latest to go viral is a three-ingredient recipe which uses just strawberries, peanut butter and dark chocolate to create the ultimate easy and delicious snack.

One of the recipe’s first creators was @faithsfresh, a private chef whose strawberry chocolate bark video has amassed millions of views since being posted on the platform earlier this year. Since then, numerous TikTokers have followed with their own versions – but all follow a similar formula: chopping strawberries, layering with peanut butter and chocolate, then freezing for a few hours before chopping into bark pieces. Recipe: Strawberry, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bark

Ingredients:

• 200g strawberries
• 150g peanut butter
• 150g dark chocolate
• Optional: sprinkle of salt for topping

Method:

1. Begin by washing your strawberries, then chopping them into thin slices.
2. Line a baking tray or chopping board with parchment paper, and evenly arrange the strawberries on top in rows.
3. Spread peanut butter on top of the strawberries.
4. Melt the dark chocolate – begin by breaking it up into small pieces, then place it in a bowl over boiling water. Alternatively, heat in the microwave.
5. Pour the melted chocolate over the strawberries and peanut butter.
6. Optional: sprinkle some salt on top.
7. Place in the freezer to set for two to four hours. 
8. Once set, cut into pieces and enjoy!
