Jimmys BBQ Club
Rewind to 2011, and Jimmy Garcia’s front room was being used as a pop-up restaurant that just kept selling out. Nowadays, you can try his dishes at a riverside eatery and street food kitchen on London’s South Bank. The summer pop-up offers two bars, a roof terrace and private event spaces, offering fantastic views of the River Thames. Go all out by booking the unique six-course tasting menu centred around seasonal produce, or enjoy some casual street food by the riverside, all while sipping a cocktail from the bar. Definitely one for the summer bucket list.

The Anya Hindmarch Ice Cream Project
Summer calls for ice cream. But instead of your usual chocolate or vanilla, how about a refreshing scoop infused with pesto? Or Heinz baked beans? Or soy sauce? Well, that’s what’s on the menu at the Anya Hindmarch Ice Cream Project, the cult summer food pop-up which has returned to London for its third year running. Housed within the Anya Hindmarch Village in Chelsea, the shop is renowned for serving unusual flavors of ice cream and sorbet – with a focus on household cupboard items, such as condiments and sauces. This year’s line-up is as quirky as ever, with newbies including Filippo Berio Basil Pesto, which has the nutty, fragrant flavour of classic pesto; Perello Olive, a deep and creamy ice cream with a hint of spice; and Branston Piccalilli, finished with a hint of mustard. Try it, if you dare.
